A larger, classroom sized version of an all-time classic. Extremely easy to use and very effective in communicating the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Share the gospel with a bigger audience with this Large Version of the Wordless Book.
First used by Charles Spurgeon in 1866, the Wordless Book has become a very popular tool used all over the world to present the gospel to children.
This book of colored pages is not only extremely easy to use, it’s also very effective in communicating the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Here are what the colors of the Wordless Book represent.
“Teaching 3rd grade girls is amazing. The Large Wordless book makes it so much easier for a large class to see.” – Carolyn Parker
Gold reminds us of heaven.
God wants us all to be with him in heaven.
The dark page reminds us of sin.
Because we have all sinned, we cannot get to heaven on our own.
Red reminds us of the blood of Jesus.
Jesus came to earth to take the punishment for our sins by dying on the cross.
The clean page reminds us that we can be made clean from sin by believing in Jesus.
When we believe in Jesus, we can have a relationship with God and will one day be with him in heaven.
Green reminds us of things that grow.
It is important that we grow in our relationship with Jesus.
Start by showing the child the Wordless Book.
Return to the first gold spread to begin sharing the message of salvation.
(Note that the second spread should be the dark page.)
Reveal the remaining colors as your presentation proceeds.
Here are some key points to cover as you present the gospel using the Wordless Book.
You may need to tailor your gospel presentation to suit the age of your audience.
Gold reminds me of heaven.
Rev 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death, sadness, crying, or pain.
Rev 21:21
The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate having been made from a single pearl. And the street of the city was made of pure gold as clear as glass.
Rom 3:23
Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glorious standard.
Rom 6:23
The payment for sin is death.
When Jesus took the punishment for our sins, something amazing happened.
Rom 5:8
But God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners.
Rom 6:23
The payment for sin is death. But God gives us the free gift of life forever in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Acts 13:30, 31
But God raised him up from the dead! After this, for many days, those who had gone with Jesus from Galilee to Jerusalem saw him.
The amazing thing is that our hearts can now be made clean — even cleaner than this clean page.
1 John 1:9
But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done.
When our hearts are made clean, we can be with God.
We can one day be with God in heaven.
John 1:12
But to all who did accept him and believe in him he gave the right to become children of God.
John 3:16
God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life.
Sample Prayer
Dear Jesus, thank you for loving me. I know that I have sinned. I have done things that are wrong. I believe that you died on the cross to take the punishment for my sins. Please forgive all of my sins and make my heart clean. Please come into my life and help me turn away from doing wrong. Thank you that with a clean heart, I can have a relationship with you now and will one day be with you in heaven. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Green reminds us of things that grow, like grass, leaves and trees.
After praying for forgiveness and for Jesus to come into your life, you now have a special relationship with him.

This big wordless book goes well with the mini Wordless books package as you can present this to your audience and then provide them with a mini Wordless book to remind them of the gospel message later on. This big book is made of glossy colored pages which makes it harder to stain or wrinkle and can last for quite a while.
Wordless books are a fantastic tool for sharing the Gospel ! You can easily adapt the complexity based on your audience. We have used with neighborhood VBS , special needs and on overseas trips. With the mini books , children can retell the story with friends and family .
We used this in our VBS on “God’s Good News in Colors.” We used it to tell the Gospel message but also in a song. We then gave the smaller books to the children the last night so they could tell the Gospel message to their family and friends.
I used the large book to show/demonstrate the color codes before several children in a VBS class.
We used these in Children’s Church. The kids didn’t have any problem seeing them v
They are exactly as I remember growing up. Disappointed that they are not completely wordless with the company name on the back though.
I like the size of the book. It will work well for Sunday School and Junior Church.
I ordered the pack of 2 large wordless books. They are great quality with vibrant colors. It was nice to get the suggestions on how to teach children with the book. Great resource!
Love this book. It can be used for all age groups. It even comes with a guide, to walk you through what to say for each page, backed up with corresponding scriptures. I paired it with the little one, so each child could take one home to share the gospel with others too. We are using it for our church Kid’s Club. We have many unchurched kids from the community coming, that may have never heard the gospel explained in a simple way they can understand.
The only downside was the postal workers bent it a little to get it in my mailbox. Maybe a shipping sticker depicting no folding would help.
I used the large wordless book to share the gospel with some children in Jamaica last week; 2 little girls made professions of faith! I then gave each of them the small wordless books and encouraged them to share the story with their parents and friends at school. Thank you for making these materials available.
Advertised accurately. Good quality. You will not be disappointed.
I love the wordless books. It transcends age and helps make the gospel clear to young and old. This tool will help you grow in your faith and assist you in confidently boldly sharing the gospel to all the world. Highly recommend!
I am excited to receive my copies of the large print of the wordless book. I have a smaller version which I had used before but with this large version, more children will be bought to the Lord and larger audience will be reached.
just what I expected – nice.
Teaching 3rd grade girls is amazing. The Large Wordless book makes it so much easier for a large class to see.
I’ve evangelized in Cuba 12 times but this was the first time I used the LARGE version. I use it with the Evangecube and so if my audience is 8 years old or 80, they can see the colors & Jesus on the cross and His resurrection and that there is only one way to Heaven. I’ll be using it again, Lord willing.
